Vimar

Vimar provides an entire range of products and functions capable of transforming the traditonal switch into part of the decor, and to provide a series of services that were simply unthinkable.

General Features of VIMAR Products

Functions range
Idea offers a range of more than 200 modular interchangeable functions. In addition to the conventional electromechanical functions, new electronic ones have been largely developed together with complete systems; even the most complex of them, like the sound system, have been designed and realized to offer extreme ease of installation.

Colours of the equipments
All the equipments are available both in grey and white. It is, thus, possible to obtain various aesthetical results, with the use of the same accessories. The grey equipments enhance the
technological appeal of the lighting point and show it as an integral part of the decoration; the white ones with their stylish elegance minimize the presence of the electrical functions on the wall and offer the possibility of choosing cover plates in light colours.

Cover plate design
Idea has two different ranges of cover plates: classica cover plates squared with shape edges and rondò cover plates , that with its rounded and substantial outline, meet the trend of the
industrial design towards the shapes and lines of the ‘50s.

Materials and colours of the cover plates
Idea cover plates are available in 42 colours and four materials, both for classica cover plates and for rondò cover plates :
• 23 colours and finishes in die-cast metal
• 8 colours in polished technopolymer
• 8 colours in matt technopolymer SILK, with a matt finish, soft to the touch.
• cover plates in 3 natural woods, obtained by milling blocks of seasoned knot-free heartwood

Cover plate packing
The metal cover plates are shrink-wrapped in apre-fractured film ( VIMAR patent) which protects them from dust, scratches and accidental impact.
The soft, flexible, plastic protection completely covers the equipments, the mounting frame and the cover plate, allowing the switches to be used and protecting them right up to the
end of the work.

Modularity
Equipments are modular and interchangeable. Most of them are 1-module-sized; only more complex functions, which cannot be further miniaturized, are 2, 3 or 4-module-sized.

Electronic functions
The new devices complete with display have just four pushbuttons and an interactive menu with multilingual instructions (shown in the display) that make them easy and user-friendly as well as simple to program.
The high-capacity carriage connection terminals are perfectly identifiable thanks to the laser-engraved symbols; they are always in the same position, with the power buttons always in the same sequence.

Cover Plate Range

Cover plates complete and valorize the electrical function and are available in several colours and materials, and with two different designs.
